This is what I look like at 445pm on a Friday after one of the worst – work related hangovers – in my 28years on Earth.

Who knows. But we woke up to the eeriest morning. I went up onto the roof for a closer look. Wasn’t until I googled on my phone that I realised it was dust. I’d thought it was a fog which are common down ‘ere.

Insane. Rode that day to be greeted by OH&S emails saying stay indoors and you shouldn’t exercise. Ha!

Though I wish this cough would go away.

Jokes.

But as Paul Gilding writes, this isn’t a joke. Something like 100,000 tonnes of topsoil stretching 1600km long and 400km wide swept over three states, two major cities in Sydney and Brisbane, and then out to sea.

Sydney’s storms.

Clouds gather over the city as the Giraffes are no where to be seen.

Slowly getting used to Sydney’s storms. It seems they don’t need a 30+ day like Brissy to come rolling in.

Over the long weekend just past, we had more rain than August and September together.

Loz, obviously fed up with my limited intellect, went to bed with an angled chap with a rather pronounced grasp on algebra.

Sydney is cool.

Took this while walking home through the city. Was struck by the contrast between old and new.

I was in love with Sydney on this day. Every brick, every street light, every bent box of downpipe fascinated me.

3 yrs strong

Loz and I smashed through the 3 year wall on August 22. We got away for the weekend and stayed in a niceish place with a great view as you can see. This was Gerringong, 2.5hrs south of Sydney. Looks like remote parts of Victoria huh?

And then there was a bar in our building.

Pocket, a very schweet bar, opened in our building on street level back in June. They serve a good mix of style and its usually overflowing Thur-Sat nights.
